Today our director and teachers from NYP came to Kitakyushu Technology College.
We were with them throughout their visit in our school. We went to a lab, a bio-engineering lab, where the Japanese professor did his research in there. Then one of our teachers presented everyone (6 or 7 adults plus 3 of us) about the research they are doing currently back in NYP in the bio-engineering field.
So basically, our school want to collaborate with KTC together for some mega project in the bio-engineering field. We were all listening to the teacher about the project, FYI as I studied Biomedical for my Mechatronics specialization, I learned that this field is cruel in some kind of area. How they tested the medicine or toxicity with the animals, how they use them for experiment...and etc
Then one of the project teacher mentioned about Singapore famous chili crab. He said our school is currently researching on soft-shell crab, basically is to find a way to produce more soft-shell crab. Then I ask the teacher why have to do this leh. He said because people find crab shell too hard to eliminate, which is true, and the crab will have a period where it will remove its old shell and grow a new one, so that time the shell of the crab will be soft. So they are finding a way to increase crabs or like make the crab maintain the period so that people can have more soft-shell crab.

Haih, but 我个人觉得就是。。(english too hard to express)
bio engineering this field 就是可以看到人类自私的一面，可以为了一点自己的方便就乱乱改别人的基因，掌握了技术就好像是上帝
of course some is for the benefit of human kinds, like cloning, but 因为想贪个更容易吃到的方便随便去打扰别家原先有的定律，感觉有点不应该，
但...其实拿动物做实验也很不应该，但不做实验又会提高危害人类人体的风险，
就像过多杀生捕鱼也都危害大自然，但我们就还是照吃啊 因为要补充蛋白质 因为好吃
那你说你吃素不杀生 但植物没有办法发出声音乱动 就应该开开心心被吃掉吗
不过。。。话是那么说 食物我大概还是会照样吃。。但 但愿我会记得它的牺牲 时时尊重被吃掉的它 不要浪费就好..............................................
越来越发现很多时候其实事情没有对或错
黑 白 没有那么绝对
很多时候都是矛盾的灰色地带
如果天堂是白的 地狱是黑的
那这世界 大概是灰的吧
p/s 不过我还是觉得因为懒惰去壳 想贪个方便而去改原本规律好好的螃蟹基因 就还是不太应该啊
但我也只敢静静地听老师说完而已
唉
不过大人们似乎没有觉得有任何不妥
难道总有一天也许我也会觉得这其实也没什么了？
